Field of activity

LACECA conducts technical tests and analyzes in the field of textile products quality and in the field of environmental protection.

According to the Articles of Association, the purpose is “to promote technical progress and quality control in the fields of textile product quality, environmental protection and related fields”.

The object of activity of the company is circumscribed, according to the acts of establishment and according to the CANE Code, the following activities:

• 7120 – Technical activities and analyzes – main object;
• 7219 – Research – development in other natural sciences and engineering – secondary object

Characterization of the main departments

The Department of Textile Products Quality carries out:

• Technical laboratory tests and trials for quality control of raw materials, semi-finished products, textile materials and finished products, dyes and auxiliary products in the textile industry;
• Studies and research on the characterization and use of textile raw materials and finished products, the use of dyes and auxiliary products in the textile industry;
• Consultancy and support in the elaboration of works, technical sheets and profile documentations; assistance in the interpretation of specialized technical aspects by economic agents or institutions;
• Proposals for technical solutions and recommendations on improving the quality of textile products.

In the activity of the textile laboratory can be identified all types of textile analyzes, respectively chemical, physical – mechanical and coloristic.

The Department of Environmental Protection carries out:

• Laboratory analyzes for the control of wastewater, surface and depth quality indicators;
• Determining the air quality in the work area and the surrounding atmosphere;
• Measurement of internal and external noise;
• Soil and waste analysis resulting from industrial processes;
• Research, technological engineering and design in the field of quality and environmental protection;
• Consultancy and support in the elaboration of documentations regarding the obtaining of regulatory acts;
• Assistance in monitoring environmental factors by economic agents and institutions, proposals for technical solutions and recommendations on environmental protection.

In the activity of the environmental laboratory can be identified actions of sampling, measurement, physical-chemical analysis, interpretation of results.

The Water Analysis Department performs:

• Sampling and analysis of physico-chemical and microbiological quality indicators specific to drinking water, surface water, bathing/swimming water, mineral water, bottled water and ice.
• Drinking water quality control monitoring within the official drinking water quality control, according to the legislation in force.

The Department of Toxicology is empowered to perform:

• execution of measurements/sampling and laboratory analyzes regarding the determination of occupational hazards in work environments, according to the legislation in force
• interpreting the results of laboratory measurements and analyzes in relation to the limits allowed by labor legislation and/or specialized literature
• studies on the exposure to occupational risk factors of personnel in work environments and the potential harmful effects on the human body
• complex technical and specialist studies on the assessment and improvement of workplace conditions
